Harmony Points of Growth (6-8)
Harmony Point #6: Souls
You are indeed a keen observer. ALL chose to create entities upon whom It could bestow Love. You know them as Souls; we refer to ourselves as Elfs, or Eternal Life Forms. We are extensions of ALL, much like the branches that extend from the trunk of a tree—inseparable from the tree itself.
Souls, too, are faced with Choices. They must decide whether to embark on a Perfection Quest or to remain at peace within the serenity of Everly. They contemplate when to souljourn, where to souljourn, and with whom to souljourn.
Most importantly, they must ask themselves why they choose to souljourn. Souls select the specific elements of Perfection—those aspects of ALL that they currently lack—to pursue.
They choose which human stories to immerse themselves in and which soulmates and SoulSibs to partner with. These are all choices they are free to make.
Souls decide whether, when, and why to call upon the Protective Corps for assistance in their Perfection Quest. They even choose which pets to bring into their TempTerra story.
I can see that none of these Choices would be possible without the gift of Free Will.
Perhaps the most benevolent act ever performed in the name of Love was ALL’s willingness to grant Souls complete autonomy in making their Choices. This is not difficult to grasp when we remember that Souls are extensions of ALL.
Harmony Point #7: Everly
Can we take a minute to discuss Everly? What is it like?
Everly is the eternal, infinite home of every Soul. It stands in stark contrast to TempTerra, which is both temporary and limited.
In Everly, there is no want, no need left unfulfilled. So, what can one possibly offer another that they do not already possess?
Put that way, a utopia sounds rather unfulfilling.
Ah, but quite the contrary. Everly is where we Souls come to Rest.
Do you mean, like to relax or float in a serene setting?
You will not be surprised to learn that Rest is, like many of our labels, an acronym. But before I can explain Rest, there is another concept we must first acknowledge.
Which is?
The journey every Soul undertakes. I know you’ve read Journey of Souls, and I assure you, it is absolutely true—what it says about Souls returning to Everly to reflect on their recent conduct in TempTerra!
So, the Reflection Room is for real?
Oh yes! That is what the ‘R’ represents: release and reflection. The ‘E’ stands for examination and enlightenment.
What about ‘S’ and ‘T’?
Selection and Study…
Wait! I can see Study … but, what is Selection?
You see, this misunderstanding is common among faithful humans. They speak of Judgment Day, or a Book of Life, or being ultimately accountable.
Are you suggesting these are flawed perceptions?
The distinction, dear Cassie, lies in who is doing the judging! It is not some powerful God who decides the eternal fate of Souls.
Then, pray tell, who?
Why, it is you! Remember that you, the RealYou, are a Soul—not merely this body that you are temporarily cloaked in. The RealYou has chosen to focus on certain areas of spiritual improvement.
When you return to Everly, you have infinite opportunities to revisit any single moment of your human life experience, and critique your own performance.
Let me guess: I get to choose which mortal experience I want to revisit?
Precisely! That brings us to ‘T’, which stands for teaching or training.
So, let me see if I understand this correctly. When a soul—uh, when I—am in Everly, I can rest for as long as I want. During this time, I reflect, examine, select, and teach myself how to do better the next time around.
In Everly, your RealYou dwells within your Soul and delights in the fullness of Everly’s vibration. Your personality—not to be confused with your TempTerra persona—resides in your Soul. For this reason, ultimate happiness can only be experienced in Everly, not in TempTerra.
I remember you mentioning that if it doesn’t matter in Everly, it should be unimportant in TempTerra. Perhaps I am starting to understand that my entire experience is spiritual.
It all comes from your Soul. In Everly, everything is clear—you understand how the Soul’s Will works, how Vastitude responds, and how you can focus energy to make things happen.
Here, we often reflect on how ALL did not have to create TempTerra, or Everly, our eternal home. Yet, ALL chose to, as an expression of Its Essence… Absolute Love.
You cannot take any TempTerra possessions back with you—only the growth in your character. But when you fall for the lures of TempTerra, you betray your true self—your RealYou, created by ALL. Can you now see why?
I think it’s because my RealYou is a Soul, crafted by God, born from the Divine, and embodying my unique personality. This is why my RealYou will continue to exist in Everly even when my physical body dies and returns to dust. And now, I have increased confidence that, one day, I will once again meet loved ones who have since transitioned.
Of course you will, for these are your SoulSibs—members of your spiritual family. I can sense you have questions about SoulSibs, but we must keep moving forward.
Harmony Point #8: TempTerra
Before you continue, I am still a bit confused. If Souls are extensions of God, wouldn’t they have access to God’s infinite wisdom and love energy? Then, how difficult would it be to achieve whatever they are individually here to pursue?
You have essentially rephrased a fundamental human question: Why am I here? This leads us to the eighth Harmony Point: TempTerra.
TempTerra serves as the Soul’s spiritual incubator, a place where Souls can deepen their understanding of Agape Love. It is here that they engage in spiritual growth, willingly immersing themselves in TempTerra as a lifelong opportunity for resistance training.
Is it similar to how bodybuilders use resistance training to increase strength, build muscle mass, and improve body composition?
Exactly. Consider this: when you scoop a handful of water from a pond, what is required for the pond to refill that emptiness?
It happens automatically, and in an instant.
Exactly. Just as rainfall can refill the pond, it requires a series of natural processes, such as, evaporation, clouds forming, condensation, gravity, and wind to bring those clouds back over the water.
This illustrates the difference between the instant refilling in Everly and the more complex, time-consuming process in TempTerra. Do you see my point?
I’m not sure. I think you are saying that, in Everly, if God were to create a void in a soul’s spirituality, it would automatically refill—in an instant! Is that correct?
That is precisely why Souls embark on a Quest in TempTerra. It is about fortifying one’s spiritual character through the act of overcoming challenges and rising above obstacles.
I think I understand now. By creating an artificial environment filled with obstacles and barriers, a Soul is challenged to persevere despite them. Hence, the comparison to resistance training.
As a brief aside, I would like to highlight a frequent misconception found in many human theologies and philosophies.
Which is?
That suffering is a divine gift, intended to draw one closer to ALL—or God.
This is not true?
That statement holds some truth. While suffering can indeed serve as a catalyst for growth, so too can its direct opposite: abundance.
I don’t understand.
Both situations raise the same essential question: how will you choose? As I have mentioned repeatedly, it all comes down to Choice.
I heard this saying: ‘One’s test is their testimony.’
That is precisely the point. A human lifetime presents an endless array of opportunities to Choose—whether to do the right thing or not. While suffering can draw one closer to God, abundance can have the same effect, cannot it?
I’d like to learn more about how Souls overcome obstacles and barriers in TempTerra.
To answer that, let us keep in mind the ultimate purpose of souljourning in TempTerra. Above all that is being Shared, remember this: a Soul enters TempTerra for a single reason—to discover and fully embrace opportunities to Spread Love.
Is that it in a nutshell? Is that the answer to, why am I here?
Indeed it is. But grasp the underlying implication. Just as a flying kite relies on the supporting wind, Spreading Love inherently suggests an expressing Soul. Love does not originate from the mortal being; it flows solely from the Soul.
So, if I believe in love and the strength of love, then I must also believe I have a soul. Is that right?
Absolutely, the truth lies in the inverse. It is not a physical body that possesses a Soul. Rather, it is the Soul that wears a physical body. That is why we call a human body, a Garb.
Wow. The way I just expressed it—“I have a soul”—reflects a Garb perspective. You are suggesting a Soul perspective instead. This will be a complicated habit to break.
Complicated? Not at all. Challenging? Without a doubt. Now, for perhaps the first time, you might start to grasp how TempTerra can test a souljourning Soul.
Is it okay for me to distinguish between a SoulYou and a GarbYou?
That is an excellent point. Just keep in mind that you embody both aspects simultaneously. Everly and TempTerra offer two very different Realities.
You see, TempTerra is an artificial reality, skewed and biased by the limits of human senses and reasoning. In Everly, only Truth exists. There is no speculation, no extrapolation, no rationalizing.
In a nutshell, one is temporary and artificial, while the other is eternal and authentic.
That is the crux of the matter. TempTerra is a dense jungle filled with temptations and distractions, deliberately crafted to intensify the Soul’s journey.
I have one final question about TempTerra. When souls finally conquer these obstacles, what does success look like?
While in TempTerra, a Soul cannot spread Love independently; it must act through the Garb it is bonded to. Therefore, the Soul must influence and inspire the Garb to desire and subsequently share Love with others.
So, the answer to my question is … when the Garb chooses to Spread Love.
